Kingdom Bound is a respected Christian music festival that has been bringing both major and indie musicians to western New York for over 20 years. It is held at the Darien Lake Theme Park and has hosted such musicians as MICHAEL W. SMITH and AMY GRANT (okay, can you tell we are out of the CCM loop?). This year big names such as DILERIOUS and THE NEWS BOYS are on the bill.

Ange&Ris'S first tour to Baltimore was a sweet success. We had a wonderful time with musician CAMERON BLAKE, Chosei, Miko and friends in this lovely little city. We performed for warm crowds at Baltimore Chop Books & Coffee, thanks to owner Andy pictured above, at a house concert with new Baltimore friends, and at Baltimore's Austin Grill. Thanks to all who hosted, attended, travelled and supported. Thanks for greeting us with sunshine. We'll be back!

Delaware Online has been stepping up their support of local music - and doing a stupendous job! With the help of PUMP AUDIO, they are featuring a monthly local music contest in the genres of INDIE/POP, HARD/ALT ROCK, URBAN and ROOTS. See the widget on their main page.
In September, Ange&Ris entered several songs. Both entries were chosen as Pump Picks, AKA favorites of the Pump Audio listening staff. Final lineup? Ange&Ris came in both first and second place, with In The Park and Newborn, consecutively. PITTSBURGH WITH OCTOBER 25-29
Earlier this year Ange stumbled across the video of a musician on myspace that gave her a serious case of deja vous. Two girls? Djembe? Kwirky keyboard? It was our first encounter with Ange&Ris' musical twin sister, JOY IKE. Check out the video on her myspace! Almost 6 months and many emails later, we prepare to pile in our cars and join our new friend, Joy, for some gigs on the west coast - of Pennsylvania, that is! Come what may, Ange&Ris will head across the state to join the friendly face and lovely voice of their sister in song for a weekend of shared gigs. This summer we had the opportunity to perform live on the radio with WSTW Hometown Heroes. We felt right at home with host Mark Rogers. Conversation ran from stories behind our lyrics to bad experiences with the post office. And can you believe it? ...Not me was air-borne! Newborn, In the Park, Love Theme - Dusk and Daughters of Zion were all sent out thru invisible waves into space and right into your ears. Cool, huh? Our track, In The Park was played this week, if you'd like to enjoy! Thanks for those who asked for it to be aired!

We were humbled and honored to share the stage with these ladies the other night at Milkboy Cafe in Ardmore. (Left to right; ADRIENNE HAMILTON, TANIA ALEXANDRA, Ris, Ange, ANNACHRISTIE) It was a breathtaking compilation of soul, folk, poetry and harmony. Tania stunned us with her intoxicating and sky-high vocals and jazzy piano numbers in 9-8 time. AnnaChristie has us on our tippie-toes waiting for her new album, and Adrienne's smooth, ripple-less melodies (reminiscent of Natalie Merchant) and interesting tempo changes had the entire room bobbing their heads! THANKS LADIES! We would play with you anytime!

Thanks to all of you who came out to BVBC and Milkboy Cafe in July. We had such a blast celebrating both the album and our 30th birthdays! Joined by the musical artistry of Csilla Lakatos (cello), Julian Kopano (bass), and Nick Kowalski (drums), and aided by a host of friends, we were welcomed back into the gigging world with open arms! Thanks guys! Studio is always fun but...WOW, did we miss the stage! Thanks to the 100+ people who came out over the two nights. We were ecstatic to be singing for you again!

A year ago, we took a huge leap to record a “real” album that would finally capture the sound we have always envisioned. It’s been a long road, but with your encouragement, help from the famed Morningstar Studios in Philadelphia, and the mastermind of co-producer David Schonauer, who brought the ingenious musical touch we’d been missing from our past demos and home recordings, we are finished (YAY!), ready (YAY!), and very excited to share our first cd, entitled ...not me with you!
