ANGE&RIS SAY GOODBYE
We are sad to announce to you, our friends and fans, that Ange&Ris will no longer be performing together as a duo. We are each interested in pursuing different goals in 2009 and for the foreseeable future. We want to support each others separate goals and dreams, as much as it has been an unforgettably rich and priceless experience to work together.
FUTURE PLANS
Larisa Forest plans to continue working with music through her job at Media Presbyterian Church and through some more classical venues (keep her in mind if you know of a need for a wedding pianist/soloist!), as well as continue to compose her own original music.
Angela Sheik is currently writing new songs and hopes to record a solo project this spring. She plans to continue touring and performing regularly in the Philly area and beyond. Ange hopes to collaborate with other artists on shows and projects, creating a similar electro-acoustic sound to Ange&Ris but with slightly more energetic and rhythmic elements. Angela will continue to use the Ange&Ris mailing list and inform you of her upcoming performances and news.
FINAL CONCERT
Save the date! We will be having a final concert on Saturday, January 31st at 7:00pm at the Coffee Club in Media, PA (the site of our very first official gig together back in 2003!). Details will be coming in the next couple weeks, probably in the form of an evite invitation. Be thinking of requests for old songs you may like to hear, this concert is especially for you! If you're in the area, please come out and share a performance with us one last time!
